Just read another post that was talking about this cat food, Weruva, and I'm wondering if anyone feeds it to their diabetic cat?

http://www.weruva.com

The only low carb variety I fed my cat was Mack and Jack but ony once in awhile because it was fish. Paw Lickin Chicken *may* be low carb. It's shredded chicken in gravy but the gravy contains starches as thickening agents and those starches may raise bgs in some carb-sensitive cats. I think maybe one or two other varieties are "ok" to feed because they don't contain rice or any starches.

Weruva claims that all their foods are low carb at something like 6% but someone here (I think) estimated that most of their foods are over 10% carbs because they contain rice and potatoes and other carb sources.

When I ran these through the quick and dirty calculation from the guaranteed analysis they all came in over 10% except one of the seafoods. Looks like to many starchy vegetables in them to stay low carb.

That's what I thought but was just wondering if anyone knew any different...
