I posted this on the Lantus board, but then realized that maybe this is actually a feline health question, so here goes...
Tonight and 2 times before, when pushing the insulin into BooBoo, she twitched on a different spot on her back other than where the shot was going and even seemed somewhat irritated. I didn't remember to warm the shot 1st this time as I had my mind on shooting in a different spot tonight, more to the left of the scruff rather than the middle again. Wondering if anyone has had this happen to them too or knows if maybe I hit a nerve, a muscle, or if maybe it was just cause it was cold. Like I said I think this the 3rd time this has happened and am wondering if I may be doing something wrong? Some folks on the other post said it was probably nothing, but I am just concerned cause it is the 3rd time and she did also appear irritated, which she usually doesn't when I give a shot nor does she twitch usually. Just wanted to get some more eyes on this and see if anyone may have had a similar experience or might know what's up...
Any info appreciated, thanx...
