Anyone avail to test/shoot Oct 14-24 near Boynton Beach,FL?

Good Evening!

Just got bad news that the person I had lined up to take care of Jetson during our trip had to leave due to a family emergency. I'm really nervous now about finding someone who will know what to do. So I'm appealing to my friends here for help.

Is there anyone here living around/near Boynton Beach, FL that would be available to test and give his shots?

Jetson is currently on 3.0u Lantus 2x a day at 8am/pm, but we can move the times a bit to accommodate.

My mom will be house/cat sitting so food & LB will be taken care of - she's just not good with the needles part.

Appreciate any help/recommendation/referral!

would your mom be willing to do the injections? it's actually the easiest part? and you can make it as easy as possible, take a used syringe and fill it with colored water up to the dose line and have her copy that each time she injects.

or is it the testing she doesn't want to do? and would she be willing if you were to work with her and show her?

Mom actually won't do any of it - test or injection.
I could try to show her, but she won't be here until a couple of days before we leave, so I'm not optimistic I can bring her around. She never had a pet, so lb cleaning is a huge step. I don't want to leave Jetson's care arrangements for the last minute. Ugh!

you could contact your vet's office to see if any of the vet techs would be willing to come over and do this on the side. there may be someone there willing to do it for $.

Melissa...I wish I was going to be in Florida during that time. I would help you. I move down on 12/14. This is the toughest part of this disease! Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Jetson is doing so well.
