So I went out of town for 2 days and left Steven with my sister (I taught her how to do everything with him and she was great.) But he had to stay at her house and i think the stress of going from house to house raised his BG. Today's his first day home. He was acting off so I checked at +2 he was 433 and +4 241 so it's going down.
I've read the articles on what to do for hypo situations but is there anything else I can do for his high levels until its time for the next shot? Or at least to help him feel better?
Also he has historically had high numbers so i think its time for an increase in insulin but I'll find out for sure at our next appointment coming up soon.

Do you have any more numbers to fill in on your spreadsheet?
Is there any way you can get more tests in during both 12 hour cycles
Yes I'll do more testing today/tonight to add to the sheet. I don't know how to add them on my phone so I'll need to pull out my laptop after work.

Edit: I think I figured it out on the phone so added the two tests I have, will continue to get more though.

You never give a second shot. It can act like an increase and end in trouble. You just have to wait it out.

Hopefully, someone with Novolin experience will be online to help you with dosing questions.

There's not much you can do to lower mid-cycle numbers. Right now, we don't have much data to base suggestions regarding dose on. Some cat's BG will drop a bit with exercise/play. I would be hesitant to make any suggestions without a lot more data.
That makes sense. I just wasn't sure if there was anything I could do mid cycle.
I'll keep working on my spreadsheet to paint a more clear picture of his cycles.
