I've got +3, +6 and +9 readings already today. I have to head out the door as soon as I do the test & shot at +12, so I thought I'd go ahead and post now.

Keep in mind that I changed meters on 5/22 prior to PMPS reading. I mention that only b/c comparing 1.2 unit vs. 1.0 unit & 1.5 unit tests were done on different meters. When I tested with my blood and hubby's blood, we read from 12-18 points lower on the new meter.

What do you think? I'd love to see some blue numbers someday :YMSIGH:

Looks like you are getting a little longer duration with this dose, but it is still on the short side. I'd recommend to hold it for one more day and then inch it back up to 1.5u. The smaller increments you can increase by, the less freak out the body will do (for the kitties that have bodies that freak out lol)

Somehow I see it the other way. The duration and hanging steady is unusual for pzi...not much of a curve but a steady line like Levemir.
I would stay here and look downwards....but stay here for a bit.

The nadir was around +3 and was a 150 point drop. It may be flatter since then, but the whole day has not been flat. From what data we have, it looks like during the am cycle, once the insulin wears off for Alex, he tends to stay flat until the next cycle. The drops tend to happen in the first 4 hours of the cycle, which is an indication that he is getting too little insulin. Around this 1u dose, he looks to get a 100 - 150 point drop with each shot.
