Some positive news among all the sadness, Angel has had his dose reduced to .75! My little Lili is watching over him.
Yesterday I could not give him his amps as he was too low to shoot. I tested him again at +23 and he was still too low and I had to go out. At +27 he was still only 10.5 / 189 so I gave him the -75 as Ruth (in charge of the trial) suggested. This morning I was stressing as he was 9.5 /171 and she told me to feed him and give him the reduced dose since I was around to keep an eye on him. Well he's fine, no hypos and bloods not drastically low. She actually said I should still give him his dose if he's >6 /108 (on an alphatrak) but I really wouldn't be happy about that!!!
I'm so sorry I haven't read anyone else's threads, give me a few days, I am still in shock but I am thinking of all of you xxx
