Anaesthetic Protocol for FD?

Hi all, Willow has a vet appointment today and I'm expecting to book dentistry for hopefully monday... what is the current fasting protocol for FD patients? I'm assuming I skip the shot that morning.

My vet had me fast him for 6 hours instead of 12, and give a half dose in the morning.
