Went in this morning to get fluids and learn how to give them myself. I asked if they'd weigh her. She has gained 2 oz since Tuesday night. At least no more loss. The vet said that what she is eating is actually alot for a cat. She's averaging
2-2.5 oz jars of baby food per day. They have 100 calories each. Doesn't seem like much but my girl gained a bit of weight
so I'm happy. Forgot to get the path report though because I was so excited about the weight gain. I'll try to drive by later and see if they will get me a copy. Otherwise I'll get it at the oncologist.
Looks like it's fairly easy to give fluids so Amy won't have to get dragged to the vet every other day. Thery want me to give them daily. That will go a long way to making her feels better, I hope. Seems like keeping her hydrated is much better
than bringing her in when she's dehydrated.
Thanks,
Chris
