I am confused... after switching over to soft/canned food from kibble and increasing insulin to 1.5u blood sugars have gone higher instead of decreasing.
We were riding the mid / higher 300s and now all we are seeing are mid 400s - all the time. Even after his increase again.
If you follow the notes you do see he has been into the vet through because of a concern (twitching / spasming) we think it may be a spinal injury or hyperesthesia. After trying some elimination stuff first (testing for other things) we are going to do an xray next. All the other stuff has come back fine though and the past two days it has gone away finally. I suppose the stress of that could be causing a spike. But... I feel like it's not honestly... he only seemed stressed out the days I noted and hasn't been since.
