AMPS 168... What Should I Do?

I just took Catee's AMPS.... 168 on the Alpha Trak meter!

He ate 2 ozs of Young Again Zero Carb in a 24 hour period. I am not sure if he ate enough especially seeing this 168.

So do BG tests the next two hours to see if he is rising and give him a small dose of .25 or .50?
Hate for him to go way up this morning.

It looks like 2 units can drop him as much as 200 mg/dL, at least some of the time.
That suggests that 1 unit could drop him about 100 mg/dL, which could still be too much.
Maybe 0.5 units would be safe and keep him from going too high.

Thank you BJM for looking at his SS and the information you gave.

He has went up to 207. I am going to test him again in an hour and see how he is and then give him the shot.

That's the nice thing about ProZinc - you can be flexible in timing and dose, when you have data!

It is much better than Vetsulin ugg.

222 now.. giving .50 do not feel comfortable giving more and will not be around this morning to test anymore.

UGG! Fur Shot... I think he was tired of getting his BG Tested. Got it on his fur on my finger. Have to just see how he does.
