Oh my gosh! We had probably the most brutal thunderstorm I've seen in years, perhaps ever yesterday. The wind started, and thunder that sounded like a gunshot woke me up from a nap. The wind started howling and looked strong enough for cyclone levels. Almost everything blew off the porch and the rain was like a shower with heavy pressure. We even got hail! It all lasted perhaps 20 mins to a half an hour, but it was bloody intense. Our street flooded for a while (at least an hour) and the damage was everywhere when we went out to the store lately. Absolutely insane! I hope your storms today aren't going to be as furious as ours were.

Beautiful start for Amethyst today! I hope she comes down and surfs safely for you!
