:cool: Hi .Recently when Amethyst sleeps and her left eye is against something she wakes up with it closed?? Could someone tell me if the Acromegaly Tumor affects eyes?Thanks:(:bighug::bighug:

:cool: A beautiful start. She's stayed almost ridiculously steady yesterday, hasn't she? She spent a full 2 cycles hanging out in the 130s. Crazy! I hope she continues to surf safely for you Pamela! I hope you have a wonderful day!
 
The pituitary gland is near the eyes. If the tumour gets big enough, it can press against the optic chasm. Does Amethysts eye eventually open after being awake for a while?
 
Hi Wendy. Thank you for getting back to me .Yes it only stays close for a minute or two. She loves when I put a Warm compress on it. So does a Neurological Exam tell us more or is it just a waste of time and money?:bighug:
 
It’s not something I have seen before, so can’t tell if makes sense for a further exam,
 
My Civvie Toby does the eye thing. Has I guess since he was grown. It’s always his right eye. It stays closed for a minute or two when he wakes up then he blinks it quite a bit then he’s fine. Toby is a perfectly healthy 4 year old. I don’t know much about acro, but hopefully ,with Amethyst, it’s just one of those quirky things that means nothing.
