Amazon savings~test strips!

I just ordered test strips for my Free Style Lite monitor from Amazon and they were almost 1/2 the price from the Walmart price. Every day I'm searching for affordable ways to take care of my dear FD kitty Louie. I'm thinking it can be done more reasonably than I originally thought!

Junior uses the same kind, and we got an order a few weeks back, box of 100, $56.00, I thought it was a good deal!
I had been thinking of switching to the Walmart Brand, Relion Micro, but I think I will stay with Amazon. and free shipping!!!

good day to all!

Kay, you can order from WalMart and still get free shipping.
Above, was my email confirmation from my order today. Oh, it was $19.98.....same price as store.

I love Amazon but I wasn't happy with my FreeStyle Lite Test Strips I ordered there. They sent me an email to review this item but I haven't done it yet. I hope you have better luck and like the strips.

They were 100 count for 55.49 I pay from 64.00 to 72.00 for just 50 so I thought what a deal.

The strips expire in Feb 2012 which is still 'OK' as you can go through alot of strips but they are an old style strip. Not like the new ones I buy. They must have redesigned them They don't seem to work as well and I have gotten a few errors.

I don't think it said when I bought them that they expire relatively soon but in an email they sent that says the order was received and shipped it did mention this but I didn't open it and read it until after I got them.

I went an bought the more expensive strips once again as my husband was learning to test and I was afraid he might not do well with them. I still have them in a drawer and will give them another try.

Still you may have perfectly good results with them. HOpe so. I need to try them again but I have been using the more expensive ones first.

I will certainly report what I discover with this first order! great to get other peoples experience with this. I noticed that I needed to look closely at the strips to make sure they were similar to mine with the little butterfly on them. I'm very new to this, so I'm experimenting with sources which may save money~
I hope it was a good purchase!
will keep you posted~

I always buy mine off of ebay... generally 100 strips for around $42-46 INCLUDING shipping. You might try there for your next batch. =)
