Am I on the right track?

My 13yr. old cat was dx with diabetes 4/18/17and my vet told me not to check her glucose at home and started me at 3u. NPH BID. Basically I got on here and started checking her at home and decreasing her insulin doses. This morning I did a cycle after dropping her to 0.5u. My spreadsheet is up to date to look at my numbers. I was just wondering if I was doing this right and any advice is welcome!

Any vet who doesn't want you to test should be avoided. I don't understand why. You're doing well!

I'm actually changing vets! She has her first appt with the new vet on Monday.

Her SS looks really good to me. I hate to think where she'd be if you'd given 3 units!
