Well, I should have searched through topics since I found a thread where it states AT2 strips would be phased out by September. Explains why I am having trouble finding them. So, question comes on other monitoring systems you use? Alternatives or do I end up buying the AlphaTrak 3?

If I were you I would look at buying a human meter. They are much cheaper to run and you can buy the test strips much more easily.
Walmart has the ReliOn premier meter which is $9 and the test trips are $17.88 for 100.
Most of us here use human meters and out r dosing methods are based on the human meter BGs.
I would not worry if they are a bit different to your vets BGs. All vets used human meters before the pet meters came about.

The Premier is a series of meter: the Classic, the Compact which is smaller, the Blu that support downloading BG values to your phone and the Voice that speaks the BG values. All use the same strips.
