Alpha Trak glucometer

For those of you who use Alpha Trak, you probably know they have made a new meter, Alpha Trak 2. I contacted the company because who can afford to buy a whole new meter, they are very expensive. The company, Abbott, contacted me to tell me you can use the new strips for the 2 in the old meter. What you MUST do is set it on "7" NO MATTER what the can of strips says, thank goodness,hope this helps someone out there......Priscillalea and Hannah Glory

Thank you very much. I use the AlphaTrak and just bought some strips from ADW but have not used yet! I am going to print your post and set it by the new boxes of strips. It is appreciated.
