Alpha lipoic acid for neuropathy

Has anyone done any research on this and what would be the proper dose for a cat?

Just did some reading on this and it is being used in humans for diabetic neuropathy.

I think this is a question for your vet. I have zero experience with it but maybe someone else has.

BTW, you might see if anyone does acupuncture locally. Doodles had a few acupuncture session and I do believe it helped his neuropathy.
