Allergy

[Gouda Cat]

My kitty Gouda has dermatitis. He’s also been in diabetic remission for 2 years and 2 months so I’m having a hard time finding a med for these allergies that won’t mess with his remission. I’ve read about hydroxyzine pamoate and tavist, but I’m waiting to hear from the vet if those will be ok. Are there any allergy meds you’ve all used that don’t affect BG?

Congratulations on the remission! I would be very concerned also. I have no advice to offer. Hopefully others seeing my name on this post will prompt them to come correct me.
