Hello to all in PZILand,

Alex had 3 consecutive GREAT days last week. It made me start thinking we were approaching regulation, but that came to an abrupt end.

My current strategy for doing is:
if over 350, shoot 2.0 units
if over 140 - 350, shot 1.8--maybe this is too broad of a range.
in the unlikely event he's under 140, I would pick myself off the floor and call for help.

We haven't gotten many mid-cycles because Alex is hissing more at poke time.
Anybody want to take a look at his SS and make recommendations, we're always open to advice.

On a different topic, Audrey (Alex's non-diabetic sister) went to the vet last week too and the last time she had blood work, one of her kidney numbers was "borderline", but this time all numbers came back normal. Whoo-hoo. She had lost a few ounces and I attribute that to Alex and his piginess, so we're making an effort to feed her separately. Audrey really likes to graze, but there's no grazing when Alex is in the house.

I see lots of new folks on the board and I'd like to welcome them. Unfortunately, I don't have time right now (trying to hang onto my job) to check out all the posts.

Take care. We're have a spring-like day in Cincinnati.

I like how you said:
"
in the unlikely event he's under 140, I would pick myself off the floor and call for help."
