Hello everyone, I would like a bit of help—I can’t manage to find the right dose. Yesterday Mia went into hypo, and we had to lower the dose from 1.25 units to 1 unit.

Hello everyone, I’m Tania and I’m Mia’s mom. Mia is an 11-year-old female who weighs 5.3 kg and has a gum inflammation. We discovered the diabetes on May 9.
Mia mostly eats wet food, 250 grams per day, every three hours. We start at 7:00 with the preshot test, and we give insulin at 7:30 and 19:30.
After a few months, we started Prozinc for 45 days. It didn’t work very well, and on September 9 we switched to Lantus. We still haven’t managed to find the right dose. We use the Contour Next meter and follow the SLGS method.
