Aida needs less insulin?

Her regular food was just about to get delivered today! The delivery guy was with me at the door handing me the parcel and then a call from the center forced him to take it back for some technical reason (dhl…)… poor guy he was so sorry! Monday I’ll get it, phew, what a long wait!
So I returned to the pet shop - the only one that has a similar version of her food, just with 18% carbs… I’ve become a regular already, they have a poor rabbit in a cage that waits for his forever home and he recognises me, really considering taking him in… First thing first, I have to find an income and then will I be able to pretend to be a responsible pet parent… It really breaks my heart seeing him in his tiny cage…

Not sure how to interpret her numbers, there is also Feloro and his CDS that makes him wander at nights in the new environment, and he then wake us up screaming in panic because he doesn’t recognise anything and feels lost… It does stresses her. In a couple of weeks they both will feel home and it will get better for him, for now I have him on a low dose Gaba regiment to help him relax.

Aida is really super happy! Purring and playing, she really loves it here! I bet there is also the weather factor, warmer is better for arthritis!

She’s getting lower again. PMPS she was lower than usually, I minimized the 0.1 by drawing the marker nearer to the 0 line rather than between 0 and 0.5… I’ll try to monitor as best as I can. In the morning, 2 hours after her shot, she was again low - 58. With HC food! I’ll have to be very careful when I start her on her usual food again…

I think I now the source of stress lately (since Monday): a new neighbour moved in, we have communicating balcony - it’s one long balcony with separators. They have a cat, and she’s very sneaky! She was peering through an opening, during the night Aida and Feloro woke up and were acting as if we were getting robbed, and then this morning, I caught her trying to go back on her part balancing on the top of the railing! She almost fell, I caught her and sent her back, told the neighbours what had happened, I hope they’ll be more careful with her!.
Anyways, that’s most probably the stress source and the high BG.
Or so I wish at least!

That could be a huge stress. That is scary and I'm glad she didn't fall. I hope your neighbor keeps her kitty away. We had a stray cat who set up housekeeping on our front porch. One of our cats was so upset she peed on me in the bed. Vet said she was marking her person but it was not appreciated. We went out and found little stray kitty a new home real fast. Another cat is a huge stress situation. Good luck with that.
