I remember you well from the "old days". It was fun to see the photos and read the story - he has overcome so much. What a fighter he is. Scary reading about the hypo - even though it was years ago and we all know the outcome was fine. Still, a nail-biter, lol.

Lev DOES rock! Beau went OTJ after 3 months on it after 2+ years on vetsulin. It is such a miracle with these long time FDs get off insulin. You must be thrilled about it.

So sorry about the loss of Minibeast though - fly free Minibeast.
 
Oh my gosh Laur, that is great news indeed! I saw the OTJ tag and couldn't believe it! You have always impressed me with all your knowledge and perseverance in caring for your kitties. I am so happy for you and Danny.

But so sorry for the loss of your Minibeast. I didn't know. I went and searched just now for your post and that was such a beautiful tribute. He was quite a kitty. He was so beautiful and playful in that video that it is hard to believe. I am so very sad and sorry for your loss.
 
Bless his heart!! And yours for getting him there. Whenever I see these kinds of OTJ stories I still have hope for Gandalf, who's 5 1/2 years diabetic now and doing fairly well.

Thanks for letting us know! Again, also very sorry to hear about Min. So Danny's OTJ had to come during such a sad time.
