He recently got sick and sadly is in emergency hospital tonight;( he has been diagnosed with pancreatitis and I was misinformed that it was caused from fancy feast we are guilty of lots of fish and now I'm aware I need advice
Going forward what do I do ? Test daily still and what kinda foods?

I've heard of a stock kit for pancreatitis flare ups what is in it ?

How do you manage a now remission diabetic pancreatitis cat ? When Jelly comes home (i am praying he is ok? What do i expect what are early signs... To know if flare up happening or to manage them ?

Cats having a pancreatic flare will most likely be lethargic, dehydrated, not wanting to eat and bunched up as if in pain.
Sheba used to get pancreatic flares once or twice a year. I could always tell with her as she would not eat and she was usually very food motivated.
She had it a few times while she was in remission and her BG would go up but would then drop down to normal after a day or two. She eventually fell out of remission.

Treatment is subQ Fluids which you can learn to do at home, pain medication (usually bupe) and an antinausea medication such as cerenia. You will need to get some oral pain meds and cerenia to bring home. Sometimes they give antibiotics but not always.
