I just fed Baxter and his number is coming down with no insulin. I know when this happend yesterday I didn't give him insulin. He tends to get low in the evenings after insulin. I am not sure I should give him any insulin. Here are the stats:

AMPS- 212 admin .50 prozinc
1:00pm 198
7:30pm 192
7:30pm Fed
8:30- 153

When I spoke to the vet today about Baxter's #'s he said to go ahead & start to give .25. But isn't .25 to much when he is at 153 already after 1 hour of food?

Baxter"s SS is updated for viewing.

Carl gave you a great answer on health. That boy should be a novelist!

In my short blunt terms, you have to be sure he is headed up. If and when, you can try a drop like .25 or a little less. Great numbers!

Your are right. He is amazing with words. But I like your short & blunt terms. A short & straight to the point person is good.
Good job Baxter's pancreas...BRING IT!
Thank you!

.... sometimes short is better. ;-) I can only do that when I am forced to. Like every time I try to post using my phone..... give me a keyboard and I'm dangerous!

Thanks for the kind words. But yeah, I could use an editor on occasion

As long as you understood both answers, and mine didn't make your eyes glaze over, it's all good.

Both answers are great. I will take them anyway they are given. Beggers can't be chosers... :-D
Thanks guys for your help.
