Fecal transplants seem to be popular to treat IBD in cats. There can be some adverse effects during treatment.

I chose not to do this procedure after it was recommended by Animal Biome when I tested Ivy with their kit.
I felt it was too risky to “upset the apple cart” of her precarious GI system.
