ADAQUIN... Need help/ advice on dose. Thanks

I really don’t know, can’t tell when Nelli is ready for another dose. *I am wondering also if maybe I should be giving her a larger dose?
Dosing history, intervals and amount, can be seen on SS.

It’s affects are very noticeable for a day maybe two when she gets shot- She moves with more ease, there are hops in her steps… Takes a semi run at it to climb stairs up to bed... and then I don’t really notice this anymore.

She is due for her shot tonight. I will stall to see if an (experienced) Adequin user has words of wisdom for us

My cat has pretty bad arthritis. We actually give her a shot weekly. If we don't she limps. Sometimes in the winter we do as much as every 4 days.

What about the dose? Not sure If I am giving Nellie enough? I understand that you can’t ever give too much it just doesn’t have (any) more of an affect after a certain dose amount (per weight)?
Nelli weighs 16lb. If she was yours what does would you give her at that weight? Thank you, thank you, thank you darlin’!

I see C.C is also taking GABA. I tried that for Nelli‘s arthritis and it didn’t have much of an affect. Nelli now gets a Bupe injection and the Attaquin. Thanks again for the once a week advice…

For cats, the dose is 0.5 mg to 2.5 mg per pound (1 to 5 mg/kg) in the muscle every 4 days for six doses. Other protocols include using PSGAG at 2.5 mg per pound twice a eek for 4 weeks then weekly for 4 weeks then monthly.

.3 -.325 is the correct dose. Cc was 16lbs when she started taking it, and that was her dose.

I only give the gaba if she's limping.

If you need to do the loading dose again you could do twice a week for a month then go back to normal.

Might try doing loading dose again. I was following directions doing it complete the first time around... think it may help to go back and reload?
