Accidental feeding?

Help! My cat ate some dry food she wasnt meant to eat right before her feeding time. Is that bad? She got out of her room where my other cat is and got a hold of her food, will she be okay? Is insulin still safe to give her?

Hi and welcome. Which insulin are you giving? Usually food will increase the BG. Are you home testing? If so grab a test now so it’s not food influenced. If you don’t test it’s fine to give insulin.
