Abbott recalling test strips - false low numbers

"North Chicago-based Abbott is recalling 359 lots marketed under a half-dozen brand names, including: Precision Xceed Pro, Precision Xtra, Medisense Optium, Optium, OptiumEZ and ReliOn Ultima."

I just ordered 200 test strips from the US for Relion. I don't know how I'd return them ohmygod_smile

Just checked my order and I selected Relion Confirm. They don't seem to be affected *whew*.

If you go to the site and put in the lot number, it tells you if they are recalled. If so, they will send new ones at no charge.

If you go to the Abbott website and put in the number it will tell you. My test strips (just purchased) were not on the list but they have been recalled.

What type of strip to you have Barbara? Mine haven't arrived yet. I had a friend ship me them from Iowa. I can't buy them up in Canada.

Hi Kerri: I have ReliOn Ultima. They are mailing replacement strips. I too get 100 at a time. They said they should arrive in 2-5 days.
