? A new poop thread

Hi FDMB,

So, since I moved my hot-mess Sparky onto FF last week, his poops have changed from *ahem* big and bulky (was on high fibre kibble due to megacolon) to grey-ish and much smaller. He's on Miralax twice daily to help with his megacolon, so I assume his turds will always stink! But the quantity and colour change is interesting to me.

Sorry I have no experience with this condition but my saying so, will bump you to the top of the list.

I have noticed color changes depending on what protein I’ve fed and a change in food can do the same thing.

When Rhubarb went from dry to wet food, she became more constipated, and her stool changed to being much darker, almost black. I asked vet and he said not to worry about that colour.

You could email a pic to your vet to make sure the colour is ok and not a sign of something.

This made me laugh out loud - the farts indeed!

Have left a message w the clinic to get some advice. I'm worried with Sparky's GI issues this weird new turd situation could cause probs for him
