A Few Days of FF Salmon - 49 BG Reading

Dusty has been eating Fancy Feast Savory Salmon and Cod and Sole the last couple of days and this morning's BG reading was 49! I haven't seen that low of a reading in almost a year when he was just starting off his remission. He's not eating Salmon exclusively either, his breakfast will be chicken or beef and then his dinner will be Salmon or Cole and then not every day either. For those of you having issues regulating your kitties I highly recommend the Cole and Salmon flavored FF cans. Both are around 1-2% carbs. ;-)

What is Cole? Do you mean Cod?

Fish too often may result in a build up of heavy metals - ex mercury - which could cause toxicity issues over the long term.

And catfish from the Ohio river have been shown to contain PCBs in the fatty tissues. (I used to answer a fishing advisory hotline at the Ohio Department of Health)

Oops, I meant Cod and Sole . Yeah I'll limit their fish intake, they were just bored with the usual chicken, beef and liver flavors. I think even us humans should limit our fish and seafood intake nowadays.
