Zener had a blue to pink day yesterday and despite starting the day on the vomet comet, he felt well enough to chase Tillie around a little bit.

This morning Zener woke us up using the litter box and not piddle pads, we were very excited! Then Tillie followed his lead and went to the litter box. A few minutes later we thought they were both peeing again and for a long time, then realized they were on the bed and that it was raining outside - a rare early morning shower in northern AZ!

Zener barged his way into the bathroom this morning while Liz was doing her morning business and cried for food! We are especially happy when he asks for food. With his appetite issues, this is a great start to the morning! We have not had to use appetite stimulant in over a week (I hope I don't jinx it by writing this)!

Hi guys .. that is to funny you thought they were both in the LB peeing for a long time, but it was really raining :lol: I hope zener pops out some blues for you again today, and yay on no appy stimulant! Have a great weekend guys!

Looks like we are in the pink bounce zone after yesterday's nice surf of blues. Zener is eating well and seems to feel pretty good despite the numbers being pinky. Managed to test urine in the midnight hours and negative for ketones. :-D

Well, I suppose it really is a bounce from yesterday's blue numbers. I had paws crossed it would be short lived but it is what it is! He's spending most of today on his wooly pad napping. His appetite has been pretty good, despite the numbers.

Thanks Melissa and Christie! I have been having a sort of down day today. It really helps to have your support. I need to focus on the things that are improving and not so much on the numbers during a bounce. :YMSIGH:

Today has been a difficult one and I'm not quite sure why, just feeling a little like we can't turn a corner and are not making any progress or keep making poor decisions. I'm trying to focus more on how Zener is feeling and not just the numbers, but it seems harder today than usual. I was even struggling seeing the syringe (with a magnifying light and head thingie) to measure, if felt like when I first started months ago. Maybe I'm just tired from my first week back teaching. :YMSIGH:
