Took the day off Sunday for breffis with DD & DSL at Sycamore Springs in Avila, then a bike ride up & down Bob Jones trail on our new birthday bikes! Bob Jones Trail
Our thoughts are with Jill & Barb today - support & hugs, too. Sending healing & caliming vines to Jaime & Jupe in advance of surgery, and hoping Gobbles, Lucy, the fab 3 (LBG, Gus, Tobey) & any others are eating & pooping well, & everyone else is happy & healthy.....

I love Sophie's house! We may need to consider something like that Emma is getting harder and harder to catch at night, but I keep hearing a whole pack of coyotes in the field!

Tigger come on down please! I can sympathize on the bouncing. I haven't done Neko's +4 yet, but I'd bet money on a bounce this morning. :roll: Been at this a little bit longer than you, and they are still very annoying! Cat's will stop bouncing but in their own time. I take heart from several SS I've seen where the cat basically kept bouncing until just before they decided they were about done with insulin.
I now treat bounces as times for a pokie break for both me and the cat. And you get to do cool things like that bike ride. Looks like a very nice trail. And paved!! Such luxury. Ours here are rough forest trails.
@ Ann - Sorry Miss Tess decided to bounce again - tell her that's not nice to the beans! I'm heading to SM on errands, not sure if I'll have time to get to Nipomo, tho. May need to make that a separate trip. I could bring more info on the cat-house if you'd like. DH says its pretty simple to make.

DH Made Sophie's house foam insulated with removable roof for easy cleaning - we put it on a 4x4 post with a large platform (surround catio) for her to survey her domain On cold mornings she climbs to the roof, so DH created an 'upper balcony' for her that holds a black rubber pad which heats up more quickly. It's her 'sun balcony'. She's actually about 13 years old, min. A real firecracker.
The only negative is no 2nd door for escape - we decided against for warmth. We put a solar light on the platform, which helps & keep water bowls far away. Since it's right at the edge of the patio it's close enough to the house to discourage coyotes (paws crossed).

Hi Suzanne - I can so relate on the bounces. Just don't get it - we should be able to make them stop, but I'm pretty clueless. I hope Tigger clears it pretty quick.
Wow - Sophie has such a nice house!!! That is so freakin' cute....
Tigger threw me a light wrench - but hey, I'm THRILLED, don't get me wrong! With a +2/225 . We'll see if he's just teasing me now that I've planned all my errands. I'll test again in 30 min. Paws crossed!
