I just called Costco to refill Sunny's Lantus, and they said there's now a generic Glargine available for $15/pen or $75 for a box of 5! I assume this would be ok to switch to --- but just want to check with my trusted advisors first. What do you think?

I am not any of those tagged folks, but wowza that’s a great deal!

I believe @Hendrick Cuddleclaw used a generic and had no issues making the switch from brand name.

No they have no problem with it. My vet recommended it actually. I don't know if it's the same everywhere, but here in Montana Costco has no problem with selling single pens.... and no problem with pet prescriptions.

far as I can tell from doing a google, Costco carries Semglee
