Well, Lightning surfed the 50's for a while last night....not exactly sure how long though. Woke up at +6 and he was sleeping on the couch with me (yes the couch, ugh). I had moved the 2 meal feeder up there with me because they kept trying to get into it. Guess now I know how to get Lightning to sleep next to me, put food nearby!
I was a little out of it and I figured he was sleeping so he must be ok (that literally is what ran through my mind at the time, now I think that was dumb to assume). AMPS is pretty good considering though! Now I'm not sure which way he's gonna go though?
I got Kyle to take care of both kitties this morning (for practice) and he did a pretty good job. Obviously not as neurotic and specific as I would've been, but I guess that's because this is my life now and I take it super serious. He did good and even got the 1.75u on basically the first try! It usually takes me about 3 times, but again, that's because I'm nuts about it and try to be super exact.
I'm going to get him to test Lightning once around +2/2.5 before he heads to work so we can see what direction he's going and that way we can set up the right carb % in the feeder. There won't be any spot tests during the day and Kyle won't get home til his PMPS (which REALLY worries me) but I'm hoping Lightning will cooperate and be a good boy...no diving!!!
