Okay, Willie is officially grounded. While I'm sure he had a great time learning from Leo and Rusty with all the furkids last night, he is clearly getting too much practice, as he excitedly presented me with a mouse this morning. In my bedroom.   I wasn't able to get him outside before he dropped it, and I was running late, so I presume it is still hiding under/behind my dresser. Which made getting ready for work fun this morning... praying I wouldn't have a mouse running across my feet or up my leg, having to dodge Willie, who was alternating between trying to get himself through the 2 inch opening under the dresser, and trying to wedge himself into the 3 inch opening between the dresser and the wall.
I'll be home this afternoon... last week when the time warner guys came to simply trade out a cable modem and decided they'd rewire my cable, they managed to shut it off. I didn't notice at first, as I was still getting a few channels and those were the ones I watched regularly. So now, they have to come back to fix it. This is all too much excitement for me. Seriously. At least a friend has given me a trap idea that will humanely catch the mouse. It involves a bucket, an empty toilet paper roll, a table or cardboard ramp, and some peanut butter/crackers. I have all these things.
Don't worry guyz, de bean can't keep me in if she izn't here!!! U guyz wants to come over an' help me get dis mouse? maybe we can move de dresser?? I gots stuff to grill, an' de weather is fine!! --Willie
