Good morning, LL!
Sending vines to all kitties and beans in need today, and extra ((hugs)) to Jill and Lona and Barb.

Ripley is doing great today.
She's on her way to join the Clean Plate Club, already used the LB ~ I often wonder if she uses the LB in my presence because she can sense my quiet elation every time she has a nice-looking poo. She suffered from bouts of constipation in the early months of her FD and CKD diagnosis, and I would often follow her to the litter box in hopes of prezzies, and praise her (and literally jump for joy) when there was success. Perhaps her PDLBs (Public Displays of Litter Boxing) are a carryover from that time... Good job, Ripley. I'm always proud of you, sweetgirl.

Last night Ripley and I fell asleep on the couch ~ we enjoyed sweet snuggles until her midnight nadir test; then I moved to my bed and she curled up on her rocking chair.

The first thing I thought of this morning was what an amazing, living entity this board is. The collective celebrations, heartaches, and support has so much depth and feeling that it's palpable. I am thankful for each of you, and so honored to be a part of it all.

HI Josie

First, I agree wholeheartedly with the last paragraph you wrote. I don't know what I'd have done without my LL family, these last four days. It's comfort even keeping up with all the other kitties, because they are my family too.

Having said that.....Hooray for that nice amps, and looking forward to Ripley going to visit the lagoon today. She's almost there now. :-D

I love the thought of her giving up the nice tootsie rolls, 'cause mamabean is watching for a good one :lol:

Detective Poo here, very glad to see Ripley's report this morning! :-D :-D :lol: I don't know how we would have survived these last 2.5 years without our family in LantusLand. I'm pretty sure that Zener wouldn't have. Not only survived, but he has thrived with all the help here. And for that I will be eternally grateful. :-D :-D :-D :-D

And I have to agree...I don't know where Hoot would be without the support and help from this group. I haven't been here long but am always so touched with the support and love from everyone! It truly is a gift :YMHUG:

Hi Josie. So nice to see Ripley doing so well. Got a chuckle from your poo comments. Only an FDMB member can understand the elation we feel when seeing nice firm cat poo. :lol:

This is definitely a family. I don't think Furball would still be with me if I hadn't found LL.

That's so funny on the PDLB with Ripley. :lol: You may be right about the praise.

This board has been our saving grace, full of angels sent to guide us and our kitties to happiness and healthiness. Many blessings to everyone here on LL. Thank you, Josie, for starting this conversation. I don't know if we get to say it enough. Ripley is doing a great job today! YAY for cuddles last night and :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: on PDLB!!!!! :-D

Yes, this board is beyond amazing. Between the emotional and technical support, the silliness, the plain old understand of how exciting a nice poo is...who could ask for anything more??

I agree, the people on this board are amazing! I've been in busy season at work so not much time to post, but have been trying to keep up with everyones stories and kitties on my smartphone or home when I have a chance ;-) And I agree, I never thought I'd be posting about poo and how exciting it is to see :lol: Nice day for Ripley :mrgreen: keep it up:) Or I guess keep it down...haha. I hope you're having a great day!

Very nice cycle for Ripley!
She likes to make her bean proud. :-D
It's interesting how she poops when you are around.
Lucy often calls for me from the LB whenever she wants to go when I happen to be at home, and she waits till I come over and sit in by the LB before she does her business.
I wonder if she is showing off too.
I always though she wants me to be a poo guard.
