Hello good people of Lantus Land,
I hear there were some worried folks out there last night. Don't worry about me! The captors who keep me imprisoned inside their house, feed me, and then poke me with needles got distracted by that 2-legged human and musta hit the wrong picture thingy up there. Stories of my premature demise are incorrect. I am alive and well, and wreaking havoc as we speak. I made sure to paw loudly at the door in retaliation for the fabricated trip to the bridge - and to alert the female captor that I was HUNGRY this morning!
I have to say -- that 2-legged human is starting to cause trouble. At first, it just cried. That was loud and hurt my ears so I kept my distance. Then, apparently he decided he didn't want to sleep in that cage anymore. (I get it -- I don't like being in my cage either -- although my travels in there typically include a visit with this person that pokes and prods me.) I used to try and trick the captors that I loved them by jumping on the bed and lying between them purring as loudly as I possibly could -- thinking they might grant me an early release. It didn't happen, and when that 2-legged little human decided he didn't want to be caged anymore, HE TOOK MY SPOT IN THE BED!! Now the captors apparently want their huge bed back again and so they've put the little guy on a mattress on the floor. But now, to add insult to injury, they've locked me out of their little cave!!
All of that I could deal with. (I let the captors know I am hungry by pawing at the door -- and, if I need to, throw my entire weight against it to wake them up.) But now...as if ALL THAT wasn't enough -- that little human grabbed my tail and wouldn't let go this morning. The female pried his little hand off and told him "no." I personally don't think that is good enough. But she seemed pleased with her response. She talks about this re-die-rection. I don't know what that is but the little human better turn around. I growled this time. I might not be so nice next time. And then the male captor might get mad at me. No worries though...the female likes to keep me around. She says I'm her "furbaby." Eh...maybe I'll throw her some low numbers today to scare her. Sounds like an appropriate response...

Cobb had a fantastic Sunday. And despite my last icon choice, he did not visit anywhere near the bridge. :shock: I apologize profusely for all the heart attacks I caused.
