Good Morning LL

This is going to be quick visit this morning. I will visit kitty condos later, as we are in a storm again. Although we don't have lightning at the moment, it is black out and raining hard. Towns around us, have had bad electrical storms this morning.
I'm going to unplug 'puter.
I hope Ella's got better weather, at Camp Stu.

Checks ate well, this morning, and is holed up in the cube now.

See you all later.

Re: 9/8 Checkers amps 170

Well, that storm was a dud! Skies got light, before I even got the computer turned off.... for now

Checks is out scrounging the civvies feeding station, for bits of kibble.

How do you explain diabetes to someone who has no clue. My friend just called to ask if I wanted to go shopping with her. When I told her I can't because Checks numbers are lowish, she asked if I could take him with us. I explained about checking blood and feeding gravy, etc, but I knew she didn't understand....and she hears about it almost every day...she lives across the street.
Same with family. Gabby is having 9th birthday on Sat, and I can feel the argument coming on now, if Checks is too low for me to safely leave him.
yes, I know I shouldn't project, but I've been thru this with my son and his wife. No clue!

Hi guys .. we had that same storm pass through here overnight .. it poured down! This is a beautiful start to the day .. I can completely relate with the frustration of trying to explain FD .. over and over and over again to family .. some people just simply don't get it .. have a great day!

Hi Barb,
Sometimes you just have to smile and nod and then just go about your life!!
Glad that your storm passed over. We are having fierce winds, but no rain yet for the paddlers (but they are further north now, so who knows).
Have a fine day. Maybe Checks will have nice, safe blues today so you can do the stuff you want to do. Since Rusty is an only cat, we don't have to worry about other kitties eating his food when we want to go out.

Thanks for visiting Rusty at camp.

Glad the storm is over Barb. Nice blue this morning for Checkers. I have thr same problem with a couple friends who want me to go to church on Sunday and then for a bite. I would be gone a little too long, and one friend says just bring Maggie and bring the carrier to church. :-D So instead we meet somewhere during the week close by. They are serious with bringing her to church.

ETA I was wondering if the Miralax ever helped Clancy. I hope so.

Re: 9/8 Checkers amps 170+2/203

Oh there's nothing like the look on other's faces when you talk about it. I get a lot of furrowed eyebrows and "all that for a Cat!?!"

I do appreciate my preachers comments of... " I don't care about cats ( he's allergic) but I care about people who care about cats"
So while he doesn't understand he at least tries to not act incredulous.
He knows us well, we play games a lot and hang out an oddly enough, he is the only houseguest we have that Shadow will come sit
in the room while he is here. No one else ever sees her, maybe a glimpse of her tail.

We have a neurotic american eskimo and we actually took her to church when we first got her. Preacher's idea.
She had separation anxiety ( still does). It was kinda fun.

Hope Checkers slides down some more today.
Happy Caturday!

I'm glad the storm wasn't bad for you. Hope you see some more blue soon for Checkers.
