Wow, started the day off with a blue AMPS....haven't seen that in a while. Unfortunately, Lightning threw up some watery liquid this morning about 45 mins before his test, so I'm wondering if that had anything to do with it. I also watched Thunder push Lightning out of the way of the feeder for breakfast #2 so I'm wondering if that means Lightning didn't get his food at +8 last night, which is why he threw up.....I seriously need a nanny cam for these cats!!
Lightning has an appointment with the groomer today so I'm hoping he doesn't try to drop on me, if so, I'll be canceling the appointment for sure. He's at 131 at +3 so I gave some 10% gravy so hopefully he doesn't plummet. Will check again in a few hours to see how he's handling it.
I know what you mean about needing a nanny. :YMSIGH: I just recently started using the autofeeders, but of course I only use them when I'm not home, so I don't know what happens. I have seen Buzz eating out of hers when I've come home, but I haven't seen the other 2 (civvies) using theirs. I've been wondering if they don't know they go off and Buzz eats all 3 meals. :shock: Maybe you need a camera to record the action while you're asleep...
Good luck at the groomer; that is something I can't imagine suffering through! ;-) Taking a cat there, that is, not being groomed myself. :lol:
I think Lightning loves it actually...not the drive there of course, but I'm always told he's SOOOO good...which cracks me up because he's not really an affectionate cat and doesn't like attention. So when I'm told he purrs and is so good (while getting shaved none the less) I just can't even imagine it! One of these days I'll have to wait around and watch him (since its a glass room they do the grooming in) and see it for myself!
Hoping he stays blue today, don't want to have to worry about him dropping to a low green!
Not sure if we're gonna get green tonight, might've overdone the MC a little bit prior to the groomer visit, but wanted to be on the safe side. He was 116 when he left and 213 when he came back 3 hours later. Not too bad I don't think. PMPS was close to pink, but I'm glad we barely got in there with a yellow
I can't even imagine grooming a cat... omg. No way would Mannie sit still for that. WOW - hope all went well. I liked Helene's suggestion of some green highlights? :lol: :lol:
Wow, am I the only one who gets their kitty groomed? I'll see if I have a good before and after picture to show you guys....he's like a TOTALLY different cat when he's all shaved....and so much cuter might I add My BF actually wants me to get Thunder groomed too, but he's got such silky black fur that I think he might look silly all shaved...plus I don't know what color he'd be under that black fur...pink? At least Lightning is still a whitish gray.
Anyways....still hoping for a nice slow drop for Lightning this evening. Gonna test in another couple hours...want to give his ears a little rest with all the stress he went through today.
