Day started put low, but ended high and with some confusion with meter. We had a ver visit at +4.5. He tested 212. He tested 270 on my Relion Confirm about an 1 earlier. He had a normal result of the Pancretitis Enzyme test. It was normal or abnormal. Now for the confusion..... at pmps on Relion Confirm he was 569, on alphatrak he was 469. I tested myself on the Relion Confirm I was in my normal range.

I know the meters read differently, but 100 points off. Has this happened to anyone else? What was the resolution?

Meter questions continue. Looks like JL is bouncing again tonight.
+3.5 relion confirm 393 / alphatrak 480
Anyone have a suggestion on the meter difference?

I don't have help on those meters.
However, the readings we get are to help us with the trends of up and down.

I can test the same drop of blood and get different readings on my meter. I can also poke a few seconds later and get different numbers too.
I think you'll make yourself crazy going back and forth.
The meters are a help but they aren't perfect.


I'm sure someone else will come along and have a different perspective.

The only way to really know which meter is more accurate is if you compare with your vet's meter. The AlphaTrack typically runs about 30 points higher than a human glucometer.
