When I first tested Gabby this morning, the meter registered a number in the 400s. Huh? Granted, she's capable of that kind of a bounce but she didn't drop that fast or overly far. I retested x2 with numbers in a much more acceptable range. My meter seemed like it was timing out more quickly than usual and it was "touchier" than usual, as well. It seemed like a good idea to change the batteries.

I got a crazy reading like that for Trix last week, too...the battery was the culprit - but it sure is enough to make a tired bean's eyes open up very quickly! And poor Trix ended up having a whole bunch of extra tests, "just in case." Have a great day, Sienne!

I hope that Miss Gabby gives you a nice surf in better #s today. I'm sorry to hear about your meter. Technology can malfunction at the most inopportune moments, can't it? Have a great day! :-D

Re: 9/7 Gabby AMPS~220

I am amazed at how long a battery lasts in my meter, especially considering how often I use the little gadget. I'm glad you figured out quickly what the issue was. I'm sure Gabby's ears are glad, too!

Nice day, Ms. Gabby....

Curious...how long do the batteries last in the meters? Guess I haven't thought that far ahead yet lol
