Re: 9/7 Charlie AMPS 362 +4 106
BTB = back to bed?
Where's the link to all the acronyms again?
Medicine from the Dr worked and completely cured the diarrhea bug, thank God. Last night, I felt that burning in my chest again though (heartburn?) after I got home though so that's a bad sign. I also felt it this morning when I woke up, with a headache as well. I called the Dr this morning and will need to go back to him on Tuesday morning to see what's causing all of it.
Meantime, thank God it's the weekend. Feel really guilty about working from home / being off work this entire week, but with the level of illness I was feeling, there was no other choice. Plus, I really didn't want to get everyone else sick.
Happy to have the weekend to at least try to restore my energy a bit before going back to work on Monday. Seems Charlie is doing quite well on this dose too without as many continual bounces, so that makes me very happy. Numbers could be a bit better, but this is a great step in the right direction so we're happy. In my simple logic, I think Charlie needs to get comfortable in the blues before the greens can feel good to her. I don't know. She's a step by step kind of girl, it seems.
Whole cat report: Charlie is out and about today (not hiding behind the couch) so that's good. Her fur doesn't look great though. Ever since the diabetes started it never really looks as clean or as beautiful. Hope that will improve for her as we find that perfect dose and get her numbers more stabilized (yes, I'm still a believer). There are moments where I catch her cleaning herself (usually it's when she's in the yellows, which is I think where her body feels the most comfortable right now for some reason). She's still the sweetest cat ever, and in a way I'm happy I was home sick this week as I got to spend a bit more time with her. Charlie and I were sleeping buddies!
You guys have a great day today,
Jill
