9/7: Cedric amps 195, +3 309, pmps 322

Since he was under 200 this morning, I gave him 3 units instead of the 3.25 he was getting yesterday. I am working today, so I felt better with that amount.

His over night numbers were a little wonky. When I tested him at 10pm (+4) the first reading was 231, which was the same as his pmps. So i put a new strip, sipped up some blood and came up with 303. 1am (+7) he was 295. I wonder what he was in the interim between 1am and 6am when I tested him this morning? Food for thought. I will check him again before I go to work today.

ok, so maybe I should has stayed with the 3.25 dose instead?

I think you were correct in dropping Cedric's dose this morning. Remember, Levemir wouldn't have kicked in at +3. That reading reflects his breakfast talking.

Will be anxious to see the reading you get when you get home.
