I think I'm going to leave her alone the rest of the night-she's getting grumpy with me after these last few days.
I know most of you don't remember or weren't here when I used to be an active poster, but lets just say she's never been known for being a sweet cuddly cat-I even have friends that are afraid of her :lol:
I think it looks like we'll be in for a dose increase, but not until this weekend...
 
I'd would suggest you get at least one spot check in tonight, you never know....
a before bedtime test is always good.
 
Pretty yellows....did you shoot 1.0u both this morning and tonight? The SS is blank there...just wondering...

Yes, 1 unit both am and pm.

Each day actually has 2 curves, 1 with the accucheck and one with my new meter I'm testing. I only put the insulin on the first curve

ETA I just realized you're probably talking about my first post, not the ss-sorry I'll add it to tonight
 
The Kroger one gives more blues.... :lol: I like that one better. :lol:
I had a Bayer Contour and then I switched to the Walmart Reli-On micro....the test strips are so much cheaper and easier to buy.
Now I understand why Korbel might be a little annoyed at you..... :lol:

That's what I was thinking! :lol: Actually, I think it's pretty consistant so far, it's just lower than the accucheck but seems to rise and fall about the same as the accucheck
I'm doing it off of the same drop of blood, she was just born annoyed at me and it got worse 10 yrs ago when I dared to bring a drooler into the house!

That photo is a riot! No wonder Korbel is annoyed -- a drooler face in the cat door!

Of course, Korbel is blessed with tortitude. Gabby's a tortie too. I'm familiar with the persona.
 
She's actually a calico-her belly is mainly white-she just has a black base instead of the more common white.
When I first moved to where I am now, I warned the vet that she had tried to bite vets in the past. The vets response? "Yeah, she's a calico"
 
wheni first took over my sister's house, complete with 2 female torties who had been fed, their box emptied, but little else for 5 long, sad years, i had my arm torn up by each of them within a week's time...but i have patience, and they have class, so we are one big happy family now. with of course, the exception of their jealousy at all the extra attn given binks. 'she rubs his ears so much sometimes they bleed! we want that too!' if they only knew...nothing like a tortie female to teach a lil respect!

Calico / tortie & white.... depends on who you ask. Either way, they're a handful - with or without the white :cool:

My civvie tortie & white Mina just back-handed and fizzed at her "sister" when the brat decided to sharpen her claws on the box Mina was sleeping in. Bad decision. Heh.
