What a day yesterday! :-D :cool: :razz: The AM cycle was a bit of a bounce from the 40"s the night before. I was glad though to see that by mid cycle in the morning he was back to the lower blues. We will pretend that he didn't have that end of the cycle in the morning spike... :roll: The evening cycle was.... well.... :shock: Another repeat performance of the night before: a couple of dips into the 40's, the rest of the night was spent in the 50's to low 60's... It wasn't until about +8 that he wanted to leave that range. :shock: :roll: :razz: :razz: We have a very nice 175 this morning, with a minimal bounce from the lows of the night before. The good thing was that it was all handled with LC, no MC or HC or gravy or karo. I feel pretty good about that. Now I just hope we don't bounce through the roof. paws crossed, and anti-jinx! :-D What an awesome job Mannie - well done! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D :cool: And the boy is sleepy this morning after last night poke-a-thon. I-) I-) While the kitty choir, aka my back-up alarm system, which was sorely needed this AM, was bellowing at full capacity, Mannie was zonked on his Nanner pile.... I can't say that I blame him. I wish I was still zonked on my pillow pile. :lol: :lol: BJ made sure that I didn't. Dang she was loud this morning! :shock: :lol: She was so hungry... one would have thought it was the end of the world listening to the intensity and the volume of her wails. Elsa was right there with her... shessshhhh! :lol: :lol: We had a great test feed shoot this morning. Lots of purrs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto, clean plate club intact, auto feeder ignored (we are back to pretending it doesn't exist), and major face washing followed. It is a cool but sunny morning today. Mannie so wanted to go out for a morning tour of his domain, so I let him. He's happily touring and inspecting all as we speak... :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool: :razz: :razz:

Hey everybody!!! Boy am I tired.... my bean keep poking and poking and poking last night... I kept telling her I was fine.... they just never listen. and hey! She has stopped giving me the really food fuds! What is up with that? Where is my gravy!!! I didn't get one drop.... that is so unfair. All those pokies and no gravy. cat(2)_steam hey - what shall we do today? maybe some pool time? Or maybe the beach? Maybe some parasailing in the dunes? I am ready for anything!! Hi Michelle, my gosh did you ever have a long night! I sure miss a lot of excitement conking out early! I'm not up to speed on the human meter, but did Mannie earn a dosecrease with those 40's? I only need 70's on the animal meter. So glad BJ kept her part of the kitty choir going. Oh poor Mannie, no gravy for the Bean! Well, maybe one of these times you will get some gravy. Enjoy your get together with friends in Seattle today. I always love get togethers with friends and to stay in touch and keep the friendship. We have your Seattle weather here. I didn't even take my walk yet. I'll get it in today with running errands. It's a nice warm, humid, tropical day for us, love the rain.

Hey Mannie, some pool time sounds good; let's see whose pool is open today and/or we could even go pool hopping to more than one and more fuds that way, too, he, he, ulterior motive here! What about dat mouse Willie almost caught. ! See ya soon.

What a run of numbers last night for mannie! i don't blame him for sleeping in today! But i wonder if he is looking for Tess to tell her about it. :? no need, mannie, she has strict instruction to come right back down.

Mannie! No Good stuff? Not a drop? Sheesh, and you really earned it last night! hey, we should go and hang w/ Gracie. She's getting new juice and I think a little scared. We should be there to support her, plus cabanabean is home! -- Tess

Hi Ella - oh yes on last night - two nights in row... omg! and yes - it looks like he has done just that - low yellow is the color of the morning. Good for me... and no doubt he wants a day off. :lol: :lol: -- and on BJ: we have had some success with one of the vet prescribed foods: royal canin, that she will eat, though it takes a couple of feedings to get her to eat what she should. So OK there,. I still need to find some others for her that she will like. so much research!!!

Hi Ann, and miss Maggie - oh yes... it was long. Such an effort to get that +8 :shock: :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: and the he was still green! I was elated that it was up some though.... not yet on the4 40's: he needs 3 of them withing a relatively close span of time. This was #2, the other being the night before. I think he may be close...we shall see. so so tired this AM, and very grateful for BJ, as I never heard the alarm. :roll: thx on town - it is always fun, I enjoy seeing everyone! oh wow on your weather! me too on the rain... as much as we all complain, it is nice to have it.

What a long night you had. Mannie sure is the bounciest kitty. I think I would be a nervous wreck all the time but you are always so calm. It is probably the beautiful surroundings -- I think I would be calmer if I had mountains and lakes all around but I just have grass and concrete and a whole lot of traffic. Have a fabulous time in Seattle visiting with friends. You deserve a nice day out after last night.

Hi Georgia - Yeah - last night was a long one - i snuck in one small nap, but it just didn't cut it... I am not a good napper... and thanks on the calm thing - I guess that I have been at this so long that I just don't get too nervous about it all. Now when he goes in for his dental in two weeks that will be a whole different matter. I worry with those. I am lucky though too to live in an area where there are trees and water etc... and I can escape whenever I want... well most of the time, if Mannie lets me. :-D :lol:

Looks like Mannie is making sure he gets a good night's sleep tonight!!! And you too, of course!! :lol: Wow, last night was eventful to say the least. Do you have any help with the testing or are you really getting up every 30 minutes and testing? Your devotion to the Manster is really unequaled, I have to say!! I seriously have no idea how you do that and function the next day.

Mannie...I'm so glad you all came to sit with me today. I wasn't scared for the new juice....just my crazy bean. But she's all better now!!! We're getting packed to go to Camp Stu!! I'm trying to think of some good drinks that involve a CANOE!!!

Hi patty - YAY on the sleep!!! I am a one man band... DH can feed and stuff, but cannot test, or give injections,. he had a medical issue that left him without any feeling in his hands, so it is very difficult to hold or grip small things : lancets and syringes are a no no... so it is just me, so yes: every thirty minutes. not too bad last night - the +6.5 was about 11PM, doable.

Hi Marje - no problem with Baby - I hope it all works out OK there. She has alot on her plate, and now a FD kitty. It is alot to handle. I am glad that you went with the 30 minutes for Gracie, FWIW, IMHO. It is safer... you just don't know when "mixing two meds"... I can't wait to see how she responds to the Lev! -- and yep on Mannie though I think he has decided to rest a bit longer today. We may get blue by nadir, then again maybe not... :lol:

Hi Julie - well it was every half hour until +6.5, about 11PM. DH did the feeds at +7 and +7.5 so I could sleep a little, I tested at +8... by then he was safe enough, or so I hoped, and I closed up shop. :cool: and yes - I am glad that tonight is an off night. PHEW!!!! no Nicholas today - tomorrow he is here. I have him W-F. I wonder where we can go tomorrow... :-D I think there is no doubt that I will sleep rather soundly tonight. :cool: :cool:

Gracie - YAY on the new juice. I am glad that it didn't make you weird or nothing.... I know on the beans, we gots to humor them sometimes, ya know? let them worry and stuff - then we gets lots of extra pets! I am already for camp Stu - all packed up yesterday!!! I LUBS IT THERE!
