Last night I was pretty excited when my husband called me to say Gideon's glucose at +3 = 171, which put him in the BLUE. I also feared his glucose would continue to decrease since he was pretty early in the cycle. I did not want him to bounce. Husband said he would test in two hours, which would be +5. I thought Gideon would be close enough to his Nadir that I would know how low he was going to go. I did have some higher LC food (8-9%) left for Gideon to keep him safe over night. Gideon's +5 was 181. I was hoping we could linger in this range a bit, but no....this morning we were in the PINK, and since have been in the RED all day.
We will get there, just not today.
