? +9=585 Should I do something?

Oliver just got home from two days at the hospital. See previous thread at:

Spreadsheet caution: he just switched to Relion meter on 10/29 and I have included some AlphTrak numbers to give vet.

I am very worried right now because his last BG was very high, +9=585. Should I do something?

I did a quick read but couldnt find the answer to my question Did he have ketones or was it pancreatitis???

I also posted on the Lantus forum but not sure if I did it correctly.

He did have KETONES in his blood. Vet never used the term pancreatitis. She just said WBC high and put him on antibiotics. And said his heart was not quite back to normal, but is better.

can you call your vet? cats that have had ketones are PRONE to them again

Seems kind of quiet there at the moment but hopefully others will stop by. Calling the vet like Jeanne said seems like a good idea. Testing for ketones at home would be good too.

Sorry y'all. I got so busy fixing my spreadsheet and learning from the folks at the Lantus forum that I forgot to post here. I was very worried (as usual) but I learned a lot and what's happening makes sense so I will calm down. Thanks for caring.
