Not quite green, but Ms P is still doin' her thang....

Nothin' much to report here today. Trix's appy is more gluttonous that it was yesterday, although yesterday's appy wasn't bad by any stretch. I"m just all sorts of paranoid about getting more calories into her now. I did see some Trixie nuggets in the LB this morning, so perhaps the need for poop was why she wasn't quite as hungry yesterday.

My Dad's first post-first-chemo follow-up is early (for me, at least) this morning, so I gotta get my butt moving already. He was feeling good yesterday, though, and they did go out and do some shopping. I am sure it helped him to be out and about like a "normal" person!

I'm sorry I missed condos yesterday...long day at work, and I crashed hard right after dinner. I should be able to get some visiting in after my Dad's appointment. Have a great day, LL!

I hope your dad's followup appt goes well. It is so great to read that he is feeling good, and did get out yesterday, Kudos!

Got back from the doc a little while ago. My Dad's BW was perfectly normal...woohoo! Round 1 down, fairly unscathed. Last weekend was rough, but he has bounced back very well...feeling quite feisty today! His oncologist is pleased, and did say that the first round is a good "snapshot" of what to expect. Despite having a couple days of feeling really, really, crappy, if things continue to go this way, it will be totally manageable. Keep those amazing LL prayers coming...they are working!

Trix was hungry when I got back! I had to leave an hour earlier than when I normally leave for work, so her belly wasn't fully full yet. She happily ate when I got back at noon, though!

Now, time to start doing something or other around the house....this feels like the first "normal" day off I've had in eons...

I'm glad you're feeling like you're having a normal day off. I've been off all week, and it's still a little exhausting.

I am keeping your Dad in my prayers and hope this round is a little easier on him.

Yay, for hungry kitties :)

Hi Amy, Looks like a great start to the day for Trixie- her good appetite makes it even more so! And what awesome news about your Dad's bloodwork, sounds like you can all breathe a little easier as he got through the scariest part! With my dad, he had good rounds and bad ones but none scarier than that first one! Yep, it's a great start on your way to kick this cancer's @$$!!! :-D :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

I am so glad to hear your dad was able to get out and do some things that bring back that feeling of normalcy, and you too, whether housework or washing the car, whatever! I'm glad your DF got a good report at the doctor. I'm sure that makes the discomfort he endured seem worthwhile. Hopefully, now that they know what to expect, they can deal with it better on round 2.

Nice PMBG, and wonderful "first dinner" for Miss Trix this evening.

Poor girl, though...she was curled up in the cutest little ball when it was time for me to prep her evening gelcap. She heard me splitting pills in the other room. I heard her little feetz hit the floor and she headed upstairs and curled up on her brown fluffy blankie in hopes that she was camouflaged enough for me to not find her. I know all her tricks, though. Fortunately it was quick-n-easy gelcap....but we still have to do fluids.
 
I'm really glad to hear Trixie's appy was good today, and that was a great report for your DF. I'm continuing to keep him in my prayers. :YMHUG:
