I-) I-) I-) I mean...GOOD MORNING! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O)

Well, last night I got snuggled on by my Shasta...except she was still in a pretty foul mood, but she did come sleep in bed with me...until some time in the night when I disturbed her...as usual. This morning, got some good purrs, but not so good on the eats. :sad: I tried all the 'go to' tricks (fortiflora, pure bites sprinkled, doesn't care for warming or Parmesan cheese) and at best...she nibbled...as reflected by her numbers! Ugh!

Finally, it was time for me to leave. I had to break out the stinkin' Friskies! When I left, she was devouring it, so I'm hoping that her numbers surf and rise to a reasonable number. Ok, I'm sitting in a faculty meeting so I guess I should pay attention.

AMPS=268 (10% - not hungry...ate 50% of breffis)
+1=221 (nibbled on breffis; tried adding Fortiflora & Purebites; tried mixing in yummy 4% to get her eating - nibbled)
+1.5=158 (opened a can of 13% Friskies - added to 4%, 3% & 2%)
PMPS=223 (fed morning leftovers of 10%/4%/3% - voracious appy)
+1=183 (fed more leftovers & tried mixing in a little more 10% - ate some more)
+2=130 (10% mixed in w/ 4%)
+3=68 (snack of 4% & 2%)
+4=64 (snack of 4% & 2%)
+5=109 (snack of 2%)

Nice +1.5! I'm glad you got her to eat something. Friskies works every time. :-D You definitely should be paying attention in your faculty meeting. I-) I-) I-) I hate meetings, especially first thing in the morning. Have a great day Deborah!! Surf for your bean Shasta!

wow - nice numbers. I am glad you got her to eat. Mannie did this to me last night - held out for the good stuff. Cats! you gotta love them. No doubt the Friskies will get her through - that one alwyas works for Mannie too.

Very nice on the snuggles - I really enjoy that, and wish Mannie was more of a snuggler...

Hoping Shasta surfs today while you're away...

Have you tried mixing the friskies in with the other food? As in changing the ratio over time so she will stop holding out.

Hey Rhiannon,

I've definitely done the mixing concept. I'd love to say that it works perfectly every time...but it doesn't! Her appy just isn't 100% right now. However, by the time I got home tonight for her PM shot, she was ravenous!!!!!! :lol: :lol: So, apparently, I just need to starve her 95% of the time! :shock:

She's been playful and silly tonight...and a bit witchy. Good thing I love her! At the moment, she's snoozing on the back of the couch; snoring in my ear! :-D Hope everyone has had a good, healthy, happy Wednesday!

p.s. the faculty meeting was dreadfully boring! I corrected student papers...oh yeah, and wrote my condo on FDMB! :lol:

Same here!!!!! After seeing all those condos with LOW numbers, I will kick her if she pulls that crap with me! :lol:

Shasta does like her diving but she seems to manage to stay above 50. :-D Sleep well, Deborah.

How are the food trials going? Doesn't seem like as much of a dive...but still a little drama queenish :-D

Hope she's feeling better and not being a snotty cat :smile: ;-)
