How is Mia feeling/acting these days? Cats are so much more than their BG numbers.

She does look pretty solid blue. But oh so close to green today.

She seems calm and content. With the diabetes being treated and weaned off the prednisolone, her appetite has lessened considerably. The past four days, I’ve started giving her just a teaspoon of her regular LC food midday, as advised. Her evening number is higher .. Kind of wondering if she would dip into green if I didn’t do that. She gets three pure rabbit freeze dried treats when tested .. 97% protein, so that shouldn’t really affect BG, should it? Her thirst is a bit elevated, but her pee clumps are getting more reasonable again. Why does she develop that big thirst and urine output when her numbers are down .. thought that was a product of high numbers? Thanks for watching and assisting.
 
Most cats BG are not impacted by freeze dried all meat treats, though Jill's Alex got a bump from freeze dried chicken. Quite unusual.

As cats get to smaller doses like 0.1 units, there is a good chance their pancreas is starting to sputter and produce some of it's own insulin. Another experiment to try to get rid of the higher PMPS is to feed another tsp around AMPS+9 and see if that engages her pancreas and brings down her PMPS.

Don't know. Does it happen all days, at certain times of day? Any relation to when she's getting prednisolone? I'd need to know more to be able to have some thoughts on this.

Thanks .. I’ll do the +9 tomorrow. The drinking is random, but during daytime hours. I will start noting when it happens. Not related to Prednisolone. Yesterday turned out to be her final day on that.
